Social media communication and promotion of the exhibition organized by Biennale Warszawa.

We were responsible for social media communication and the campaign promoting the exhibition “FLORAPHILIA. Revolution of Plants" realized by Biennale Warszawa.

The exhibition was part of a project entitled "Floraphilia. On the interconnectedness of the world of plants, botany and colonialism”, implemented by the Akademie der Künste der Welt in Cologne, from the funds of the Kulturstiftung des Bundes. Its aim is to explore the social and political aspects of the history of plants, botany and botanical gardens, in particular their entanglement in the history of colonialism and their importance in the economic, feminist and migrant context.

The exhibition “FLORAPHILIA. Revolution of Plants" took the plant world out of the reactionary context of fashionable interior design magazines and superficial eco trends, revealing its emancipatory potential leading to social transformation.

We designed a coherent and aesthetic grid on Instagram @biennalewarszawa. Thanks to our activities, we managed to reach thousands of new people. We promoted the exhibition itself and the extra events, each time introducing the audience to the context in an accessible way.
