Pawilon tańca i innych sztuk performatywnych
Visual identity, design & implementation of the website, and comprehensive creation and execution of a campaign commissioned by the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw promoting the open curatorial competition for the pilot year of the Pavilion of Dance and other performing arts initiated by the city of Warsaw.
We are responsible for the creation, design, and implementation of the website www.pawilontanca.pl, as well as the promotional campaign for the open competition for the annual curatorial concept of the Pavilion of Dance and Other Performing Arts. We support the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw in the digital management of the competition.
Soon, the place known to the Warsaw public as the Museum on the Vistula – the temporary home of the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw – will be transformed into the Pavilion of Dance and Other Performing Arts. This project is a pilot initiative, and its future depends on the artistic individuals and collectives representing the fields of dance, choreography, and performance. The organizer of the pilot year of the Pavilion of Dance and Other Performing Arts is the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, a cultural institution of the City of Warsaw. The evaluation of the pilot program will be conducted by the Warsaw Observatory of Culture. The project is funded by the City of Warsaw.
The visual identity of the competition emphasizes the unprecedented and grassroots nature of the process we are dealing with. Strong, contrasting colors, simple typography, and solutions that enhance content accessibility, along with graphics symbolically referencing movement, are featured. The website for the open curatorial competition for the pilot year of the Pavilion of Dance and Other Performing Arts is a key element of the competition process – it is here that individuals and collectives participating in the process submit their competition applications.
We have launched an Instagram account @pawilontanca, which continuously informs the audience about the rules, updates, and progress of the competition. We are running a promotional campaign for the competition on social media. A Facebook group brings together individuals interested in applying to the competition. Our activities primarily focus on reaching out to artistic individuals and collectives, as well as the broader audience interested in the dance and performance scene, and the people of Warsaw who care about the future of the current Museum on the Vistula.
We conduct PR activities to build awareness and inform about the open curatorial competition and the next steps related to the future of the Pavilion of Dance and Other Performing Arts. We engage news media, cultural and lifestyle media, as well as titles specialized in the themes of dance, choreography, and movement-based storytelling.
