History Meeting House - Spoken History Archive
Working with the Warsaw-based History Meeting House, we took care of the communication campaign of their "Spoken History Archive" project. Its goal was to increase the number of registrations on the project website (RelacjeBiograficzne.pl), which is a comprehensive archive of audio-visual materials representing the recollections of witnesses to 20th century history.
The History Meeting House has entrusted us with the campaign of one of its projects, the Spoken History Archive.
The Spoken History Archive is Poland's largest collection of eyewitness accounts of 20th century history, containing more than 2,600 hours of stories. It is also approx. 5,500 biographical interviews recorded in audio or video, digitized, processed and made available, among others, in the Reading Room of the History Meeting House, or www.relacjebiograficzne.pl.
Their collection also includes more than 30,000 scans of archival photos from the interviewees' family albums. All of this creates an engaging whole, which is an excellent source of knowledge not only for history enthusiasts or teachers, but also for pupils, students and laymen.
As part of our collaboration with the institution, we conducted a social-media campaign, aimed at both laypeople and education professionals, encouraging them to register on RelacjeBiograficzne.pl.
Thanks to dedicated assets (motion and static design) published on several channels, we were able to create a coherent story about why you should join the community and explore the history of our ancestors.
