VR "Noccc"

PR support for the first Polish VR project presented at the Sundance Film Festival.

We had the honour to support communications of the “Noccc” project. This VR experience and experimental animation is based on a slam poem by Weronika Lewandowska.

The project is an experimental animation: a 3D interactive experience containing poetry and dance in a virtual sphere created by Weronika Lewandowska and Sara Frydrysiak.

The “Noccc” VR is a virtual erotic poem which was made in half a year within the VNLab – Visual Narration Laboratory in the Leon Schiller National Film School. It’s a several-minute long artistic animation with ASMR and interactive elements which lets the viewers immerse themselves in a sensual experience of poetry and dance.

The script was created based on a spoken word piece of the poet Weronika Lewandowska. The artist uses characteristic sounds of the Polish language, creating onomatopoeias and images transcending language barriers.

The animation premiered during the Sundance Film Festival as a part of the New Frontiere category, presenting innovative ways of telling stories and new technologies. It was the first Polish VR film to be shown during Sundance.
